A Story of Adventure
Lubanzi was inspired by an adventure along South Africa’s remote Wild Coast. During the journey, a dog known locally as Lubanzi joined the travelers and followed them for six days and nearly 100 miles before disappearing before the final morning. His adventurous spirit inspired the winery’s name and its fitting motto:
Keep on Wandering.

Wine Made with Purpose
Lubanzi is more than a wine label. It is a socially conscious company built around the belief that business can be a force for good.

The winery works with grapes from South Africa’s rugged Swartland region and emphasizes wild fermentation, minimal-intervention winemaking, and responsibly produced wines.
Lubanzi also directs 50% of its profits through its partnership with the Pebbles Project to support health and education programs for farming communities in South Africa’s wine regions.

Lubanzi has been a Certified B Corporation since December 2018. B Corp certification recognizes businesses that meet standards related to social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
It is a refreshing reminder that a great bottle of wine can represent more than what is inside the glass.

Wines Inspired by South Africa
Lubanzi’s wines reflect the energy and diversity of South Africa’s wine country. Its current portfolio includes Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cinsault, Organic Shiraz, and Rosé Bubbles.

Lubanzi Sauvignon Blanc White Wine
Known for its crisp, refreshing character, Lubanzi Sauvignon Blanc showcases bright citrus, tropical fruit, and subtle herbal notes. Its lively acidity and clean finish make it an inviting choice for guests who enjoy vibrant, easy-drinking white wines.

Lubanzi Chenin Blanc White Wine
Chenin Blanc is one of South Africa’s signature grape varieties, and Lubanzi’s version highlights the character of the Swartland region. The wine is made with handpicked grapes and offers a fresh, mineral-driven profile that is ideal for warm Florida days.

Lubanzi Cinsault Red Wine
Often described as a lighter, gentler red, Lubanzi Cinsault is made from mature, dry-farmed vines in the southern Swartland. Its profile features red and dark fruit with soft tannins, making it an inviting choice for guests who enjoy lighter-bodied reds.

Lubanzi Shiraz Red Wine
Known for its rich, expressive character, Lubanzi Shiraz features dark fruit, warm spice, and subtle savory notes. Its smooth texture and balanced finish make it an inviting choice for guests who enjoy bold, full-flavored red wines.

A Personal Connection to the Bottle
At Zero Gravity Wine Bar, we love sharing wines with meaningful stories. Meeting the people behind Lubanzi deepened our appreciation for their South African roots, purpose, and winemaking approach.
We’re excited to bring those wines—and the stories behind them—to our guests in Cocoa Beach.
